
Margaret Leona Rix, 91, passed away March 28, 2016, in Carmel. She was born December 28, 1924, in Anderson.
Margaret was married to Garland A. Rix for 71 years, and survived him by two years.
Margaret was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Greenwood, and was gratefully given prayers by Pastor David Lee and the congregation.
Along with her husband, she was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Sue Williams of Indianapolis; her parents, Grace and Charles Boerner; and 14 siblings.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra K. Eyster of Mooresville and Karen S. Law of Carmel; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at noon Friday, April 1, 2016, at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, with calling from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.

I know your soul went straight to heaven, but today we say goodbye to your physical being on earth. I am glad that you are no longer suffering and now can look forward to spending eternity with grandpa,mom, Stevie, all your brothers and sisters and your parents. I will never forget all the memories we made together feom you washing my hair at the sink to playing dress up with Brie in your clothes to coming to visit you in Florida.
